Life as we know it has changed

Wes and I accomplished our first goal as parents Monday night...keeping our sweet baby boy alive and well! Now, I can't say we accomplished this goal with a lot of sleep. Our quiet, dark room is no match for the bright lights and constant noises in the NICU. Now that we have three nights under our belt I can say we are doing much better.

Today we went for the first doctor's appointment and Price is a healthy, growing boy. He now weighs 8lbs 10oz (obvisiouly he is eating well). We doubled checked with the doctor to confirm Price could travel next week for Christmas in Dyersburg. My brother-in-law Drew might want to think about buying the family some of those fancy ear plugs he uses!!

He's Here, He's Here!!

Price Andrew Caudell made his grand debut on December 11, 2009 at 6:56 pm weighing 8lbs 4oz and measuring 20 inches. When he was born he was having trouble breathing so he was admitted to the NICU. Within an hour and a half he was much better, but once you are admitted to the NICU you have to be monitored carefully. Until Sunday Wes and I were the only ones allowed to touch him (luckily for the grandparents that changed). Monday Price and I were discharged and we headed home. Wes and I are already amazed at our gift from God! He is such a precious baby.

Still Waiting

It has been confirmed...if Price does not make his grand debut by December 11 I will be induced that morning. We will keep you updated between now and then in case he wants to meet us early!
